The journal Lancet Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Women’s Health published in January 2026 an article entitled
“Prenatal paracetamol exposure and child neurodevelopment: a systematic review and meta-analysis.” The study examines whether use of paracetamol during pregnancy is associated with autism spectrum disorder, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, or intellectual disability in children.
